If a series circuit has three loads, each with a resistance of 6 olms, and the power source provides 120V, what is the current flowing through each of the loads? Show your calculations.

  1. Ravikanth says:

    Current I = V/R
    Total resistance R = R1+R2+R3
    If R=6ohms, R total = 6+6+6 = 18ohms
    Current I = 120/18 = 6.66A
    If 3 ohms resistor it is 120/12 = 10A
